This train gets you from London to Paris in just over three hours with several stops on the way if you don’t fancy going into London. Taking the Eurostar train across the channel
Travelling on the Eurostar train couldn’t be easier. You can board the train in either London St. Pancras, Ebbsfleet International or Ashford International in Kent and then hop off in Calais or Lille or continue to either Brussels or Paris. There is even a direct service to Disneyland Paris. Because your luggage will be checked just like on a plane journey, you should try and be at the train station at least 30 minutes before departure.
On the Eurostar train
Book your ticket online in advance to have reserved seats waiting for you. This way you can just sit back and enjoy the journey. There is a big choice of food options on the Eurostar trains and before you know it you will have reached your destination. To get from London to Paris takes just 2 hours 15 minutes, to Brussels 1 hour 51.
How to find the cheapest tickets
In order to get the best deals and cheapest prices you should always try and book online as early as possible. The more in advance you book the more likely it is you will get the best price fare. It is also advisable to be a flexible with your travel times. The best deals can be found if you can book a specific time and date to travel, rather than booking a flexible fare (which allows to change your travel times if you need to). The cheapest fares are more likely available for the off peak trains.

Taking the train and the ferry across the channel
It is possible to travel across the Channel using what's known as a train-ferry-train ticket. From London Victoria or Charing Cross it is only around 2 hours to get to Dover.
